Ryan Yarbrough has been called up to the major league roster. It is a corresponding move for Jeffrey Springs being placed on the family emergency medical list. (Tricia Whitaker on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Yarbrough will likely serve as a bulk reliever today behind Matt Wisler and could be sent back down once Springs returns (3-7 days). He has struggled this season, sporting a 5.65 ERA in 28 innings, so he should be avoided for the immediate future.
