Brad Hand pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts on Friday against the Cardinals to earn his third save of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The Phillies are using a committee at closer, as evidenced by the fact that Seranthony Dominguez pitched in the eighth inning of Friday's win. More often than not, Dominguez will be used against the heart of the order, as he was Friday, so Hand should find his way into save situations on occasion in similar situations. On the year, he has a 2.22 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with decent strikeout numbers, so he's worth rostering in any league where saves are at a premium.
