Kevin Gausman takes line drive off ankle, leaves game

Toronto starter Kevin Gausman took a hard line drive off his right leg/foot and crumpled to the ground. He was able to gingerly walk off the field under his own power but was removed from the game.
Fantasy Impact:
The line drive off the bat of Wander Franco appeared to strike Gausman in the ankle in the air, and he fell to the ground when he attempted to go after the ball. He headed to the clubhouse for X-rays immediately upon leaving. We will update you with more information as we learn it.
