Chris Sale strikes out 12 batters in loss to Tampa

Chris Sale continues his dominance as the White Sox ace. Unfortunately, he did not get much run support and lost to Tampa on Sunday. Sale pitched 6.2 innings; allowing two earned runs on only three hits. The downfall to Sale's day was walking three batters; one of which led to the game winning run. In the seventh inning, Sale walked the first batter and let up a two-run homer to Asdrubal Cabrera. That was all Tampa needed as they won 2-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Chris Sale is a beast for the White Sox and fantasy owners. He is a high volume strikeout pitcher who does not let up many runs. His only downside is a poor White Sox offense who cannot seem to provide consistent run support. With the White Sox failing to provide runs, Sale only has a record of 6-3 on the season. All that aside, Sale is still a good option in any fantasy format.
