Starling Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI on Saturday against the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Marte now has multiple hits in three of his last six games, and his average now sits at .282. He has impressive raw power, as his 113.3 MPH max exit velocity ranks in the top nine percent of the league. Yet his average exit velocity of 85.8 MPH ranks in the bottom eight percent of the league, showing that he hasn't hit the ball well consistently. None of that really matters, however, as Marte frequently outperforms his expected stats anyway. He remains a five-category producer and with little sign that he's slowing down dramatically, continue to buy him as an elite player.
