by Scott Youngson | Reds Correspondent | Sat, Jul 2nd 7:52pm EDT

Kyle Farmer left Saturday's game after being hit by a 100 mph Spencer Strider fastball on the hand in the fifth inning. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury. (Bobby Nightengale on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

There's a good chance Farmer will miss some time and possibly land on the IL. Keep an eye out for further updates. Farmer has been a solid contributor this season with a .280 BA, five HRs, four SBs, 27 runs, and 39 RBI. Matt Reynolds figures to see most of the starts at shortstop should Farmer miss significant time.
