Justin Turner hits seventh home run of the year in Dodgers win Saturday

by Josh Thiessen | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, Jul 3rd 12:54am EDT

Justin Turner went 2-for-3 at the plate on Saturday, hitting a solo homer along with a single, walking once, and striking out once as the Dodgers went on to beat the Padres in a 7-2 game.

Fantasy Impact:

Turner has swung the bat really well, especially during this series against the Padres as he has three home runs over the last three games. The Dodgers third basemen is now batting .229 on the season with an OPS of .685 which are both average in the league. The 37 year old is past his prime but is still a serviceable bat on a very strong offence and surprisingly even has a stolen base despite his old wheels.
