Isaac Paredes continues to rake during doubleheader

by Andersen Pickard | Rays Correspondent | Sun, Jul 3rd 7:12am EDT

Rays second baseman Isaac Paredes doesn’t slow down. He stole the show once again during Saturday’s doubleheader against the Blue Jays, going 1-for-5 with a solo homer during Game 1 and 3-for-5 with a single, double, and three-run homer in Game 2. In total, he logged three runs, five RBI, and two strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

Paredes has been the hottest hitter in baseball over the last couple of weeks. Over his last 10 games, he’s hitting 15-for-39 with eight homers and 15 RBI. It’s hard to trust someone based on this relatively sample size, but it’s also hard to justify leaving Paredes on fantasy waivers. In deeper leagues (or even smaller leagues in which you have an open roster spot), Paredes represents a priority addition.
