Giancarlo Stanton blasts 20th home run in victory Saturday

Giancarlo Stanton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in New York’s 6-1 win in Game 2 on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Stanton reached the 20-home run plateau for the 11th time of his career and the third time in pinstripes. In fact, the solo shot was Stanton’s 100th career home run as a Yankee and it came back to back with Rizzo’s home run in the 4th and put New York up for good. Stanton’s 53 RBI this season are good for 10th in the Majors and 4th in the American League. Stanton has nine homers and 18 RBI since June 7 despite hitting just 15-for-78 (.192) during that span so fantasy managers have to give him a pass on the average.
