Dylan Floro picks up first save of the season Sunday

by Nate Miller | Nationals Correspondent | Sun, Jul 3rd 5:54pm EDT

Dylan Floro recorded a save in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Nationals, striking out two while retiring the side in order in the 10th inning.

Fantasy Impact:

Floro saved 15 games for the Marlins in 2021, but injury and inconsistency has held him out of the closer role this year. He got the opportunity to finish off Sunday's win in the 10th inning after regular closer Tanner Scott blew a one-run Marlins lead in the ninth. Scott has been mostly solid since grabbing the gig in early-June, so the situation is only worth monitoring at this point. There is little reason to go out and grab Floro just yet.
