Joey Votto gets two hits in loss to Cubs
by Kerry Kauffman | Blue Jays Correspondent | Mon, Jun 15th 12:06pm EDT
The Reds managed just seven hits in a 2-1 loss to the Cubs on Sunday. Joey Votto was one of the few bright spots for the Reds, going 2-for-5 with a double. He raised his average to .298 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Votto has been excellent all season with an on-base percentage of .398 and OPS of .956. He's on pace to hit 37 home runs and knock in 94 runs. Votto is performing like he did during his All-Star campaigns of 2010 through 2013. He's a top notch fantasy first baseman.
