Emmanuel Rivera went went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Kansas City’s 7-4 win against Detroit on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Rivera collected his sixth multi-hit game of the season but just his first since May 27. Rivera’s average has slipped m, as you could imagine no multi-hit games in 6 weeks would, from .242 down to .199 before Sunday’s 2-hit performance. Rivera will continue to get regular at-bats as the season goes on but until he can string together more consistent offensive production, fantasy managers can find superior options.
