Chris Flexen earned the win Monday against the Padres, allowing four hits across 6.2 shutout innings with eight strikeouts and three walks.
Fantasy Impact:
Flexen retired the Padres in order during the first three innings. He was able to leave a couple runners stranded in the next frame and eventually was taken on with two on and two outs in the seventh inning. He now posts a 4.00 ERA on the season and an even better 3.09 ERA across his last eight starts.
