Padres fire manager Bud Black

The Padres have relieved Bud Black of his managerial duties and will immediately begin a formal search for his replacement. In the interim, bench coach Dave Roberts will serve as the acting manager. (San Diego Padres on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Black had been the manager of the Padres since 2007, but the sub .500 start was not good enough for ownership. The Padres were expected to contend this season after making major offseason moves.
