David Peterson struggles in no-decision on Wednesday

by Dan Harris | Mets Correspondent | Wed, Jul 6th 11:25pm EDT

David Peterson allowed three runs on four hits and five walks over 3 2/3 innings on Wednesday against the Reds. He struck out seven and did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Peterson probably didn't get much sleep over the last few days after being on the paternity list, so he can be forgiven for his subpar outing. He still generated 12 whiffs and had a passable 26% CSW rate, but this was a far cry from his run of solid outings of late. Peterson's strikeout rate has been excellent this year, and he's in for a two-start week next week, so he's worth adding if he remains on the wire. He'll take on the Braves, followed by the Cubs, next.
