Pavin Smith suffered a fractured wrist in Triple-A while diving for a ball on Sunday. The injury is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks. (AZCentral.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith struggled with the Diamondbacks this season prior to being sent down to Triple-A. In 65 games he slashed .207/.290/.362 with nine home runs and 31 RBIs. With Pavin on the shelf for at least the next six weeks, it is safe to drop him.
