Kevin Kiermaier stated his hip feels as bad as the last time he had to go on the IL, and is not sure how long he will be out of action. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Kiermaier comparing his current hip issue to the one that sidelined him on June 21 is not good news for fantasy managers. It sounds like the IL is a certainty and there is no timetable on a return. He was sent on a rehab assignment while recovering from the same hip issue, so it is likely the Rays will use the same recovery plan.
