Tim Hudson goes only five innings

Tim Hudson couldn't make it through the sixth inning after giving up eight hits, three earned runs, one walk and just three strikeouts. He pitched to two batters in the sixth but couldn't retire any of them. He finished with throwing only 85 pitches 55 of them strikes.

Tim Hudson hasn't done well over the last two games, even though he picked up the victory against the Mets on June 10th. In the last two contests, he has only pitched a total of eight innings, giving up 16 hits, seven earned runs, three walks and only four strikeouts. His season ERA 4.65, 40 strikeouts in 79.1 innings and is 4-6. If you own him and need room for your lineup it may be time to think of cutting him loose.
