During Monday evening's 6-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies, Colby Rasmus went 1-for-3 in the game with a three-run home run in the first inning. He also drew a walk, struck out, and popped out. His average took a slight climb up to .250 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Rasmus is proving, with each passing game, exactly why GM Jeff Lunhow and the organization sought him out as a free agent. The change of scenery coupled with his already existing hard work ethic is turning Colby Rasmus back into more of the player he was in St. Louis rather than the skid he undertook in Toronto. Fans and fantasy holders would do well to invest in the talented veteran outfielder.
