A.J. Minter pitched 1/3 of an inning, allowing a walk while striking out one during Atlanta's win over Washington on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Minter locked down his fifth save getting just one out after Will Smith allowed a season-high three earned runs in the ninth inning. Kenley Jansen was getting a rest on Friday, and the Braves were able to call on their highly capable secondary option in Smith. He's been excellent all season collecting four wins with a 1.83 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with 52 strikeouts over 43 appearances.
