The "bad" Gio Gonzalez showed up in Toronto. After two above-average starts, and two outs in the first inning, Gio started walking guys (despite a generous strike zone) and didn't last long. His line: 3.1 IP, 8 H, 5 ER, 3 BB, 1 K (79 pitches) for a Game Score of 22 and the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
A roller-coaster season for Gio (4-4, ERA 4.82) makes it difficult to play him in fantasy. On the whole, he's not giving you value compared to his salary.
