Spencer Torkelson was optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday. Manager A.J. Hinch stated they want him to get everyday at-bats away from the big leagues. (Evan Woodbery on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Torkelson was having a rough first half in his first season in the big leagues. He was slashing .197/.282/.295 with five home runs and 21 RBIs. He will likely be recalled at some point during the second half, but only holds fantasy value in dynasty formats.
