Dustin Pedroia said his absence from Tuesday's lineup against the Braves is not the result of a physical issue, but Red Sox manager John Farrell said the second baseman has a sore left knee, WEEI's Rob Bradford reports. (Rob Bradford on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It is hard to say who is right in the report on Dustin Pedroia but I would imagine if the Red Sox are benching one of their few hot hitters it has to be for a good reason. If it is an injury it probably isn't serious and Pedroia should be back in a day or two.
