Fantasy Impact:

This is awful news for Chisholm and his fantasy managers, as it leaves a best-case scenario for his return in early-to-mid September. Speculation among beat writers is that the six-week timeframe is optimistic and with the Marlins unlikely to compete, Chisholm is likely lost for the remainder of the fantasy season for all intents and purposes. The youngster has an incredible ceiling and all the talent in the world, but this will be the second straight season that he will have missed significant time. Don’t sell low in dynasty formats yet, but he’s effectively droppable in redraft leagues.
