Jameson Taillon pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out two in New York’s 7-6 victory in Baltimore on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon failed to make it out of the 3rd inning for the first time all season, taking 67 pitches to record just eight outs. Taillon owns a 6.09 ERA over his last nine starts and has seen his ERA rise from 2.30 to 3.93 during that span. However, thanks to New York’s potent offense, Taillon has a record of 4-1 during that stretch in spite of him. Taillon will look to get his second half back on track in his next start slated for Thursday against the Royals.
