On Tuesday, the Baltimore Orioles absolutely crushed the Philadelphia Phillies 19-3. Leading the way was third basemen Manny Machado he went three for four, with a single, two home runs, and three RBI.
Fantasy Impact:
Manny Machado has been absolutely on fire lately, he has been able to pick it up after a slow start. In 63 games he has 13 home runs, 33 RBI, and is hitting .282 wit an OPS of .818. He has led the Orioles resurgence as of late, helping them get out of the basement and back into contention in the AL East. While he started off this season very slow slumping a lot at the plate, but now it looks like he is in a groove. While his defense has never been affected, it was his consistency that was the huge issue for the early part of the season. It's time to get Machado if he is still available, he has found his power and is a consistent threat every time he is at the plate. Manny Machado will look to keep this up for the rest of the season, and now should be seriously considered as an all-star.
