Bobby Dalbec's two homers not enough in Cleveland

by Andersen Pickard | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, Jul 27th 10:26pm EDT

Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec (who has been filling in at third base lately) went 2-for-3 with a pair of two-run homers against the Guardians on Wednesday evening. He also delivered a sacrifice fly, giving him a total of five RBI in the contest. It was not quite enough, though, as Boston ultimately fell to Cleveland by a score of 7-6.

Fantasy Impact:

Dalbec is now slashing .206/.279/.370 with 10 homers, 28 RBI, 23 walks, and 88 strikeouts this season. He has three homers over his last seven games but is hitting just 4-for-21 with 11 strikeouts during that span.
