Colin Poche blows save but earns win in Baltimore

by Andersen Pickard | Rays Correspondent | Wed, Jul 27th 11:21pm EDT

Rays reliever Colin Poche blew a save situation by allowing a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning against the Orioles on Wednesday. His final line included two strikeouts, two hits, and one walk. He managed to earn the win as Tampa Bay rallied to defeat Baltimore by a score of 6-4 in 10 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Poche is now 3-1 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and .198 OBA through 33 innings of relief work this season. He has 11 holds but is just 6-for-10 in save situations. It is becoming increasingly hard to trust him late in games.
