Jameson Taillon fans eight Royals in no decision Thursday

Jameson Taillon pitched six innings, allowing no runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight in New York’s 1-0 victory over Kansas City on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Taillon allowed zero runs in a start for the first time since June 18 and his eight strikeouts were his most since that start as well. Taillon finished a rocky July on a good note but finished the month 1-1 with a 5.04 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts in 25 innings across five starts. Despite the up and down performances since the beginning of June, Taillon is 10-2 with a 3.72 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 109 innings across 20 starts this season. Taillon will go for his 11th win in his next start on Tuesday against the Mariners.
