Ross Stripling strikes out five in no-decision on Saturday

Ross Stripling pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits while striking out five during Toronto's win over Detroit on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Stripling was solid again in this game, allowing two or fewer earned runs for the ninth time in his last 10 starts. Just as impressive is that he's allowed only seven total walks over that span and is helping the Blue Jays win without producing high strikeout totals. He should definitely be owned in deeper leagues and is now on the radar in all mixed leagues as he's become a dependable peripheral producer. On the season he is 5-3 with a 3.16 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with a 67:15 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 15 starts. He'll next take the mound in a road matchup against the Twins.
