Charles Leblanc rips first MLB homer Sunday

by Nate Miller | Angels Correspondent | Sun, Jul 31st 6:00pm EDT

Charles Leblanc went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Mets.

Fantasy Impact:

Leblanc picked up his first MLB hit Saturday and followed that up Sunday afternoon with his first homer in the bigs. The 26-year-old infielder is now 3-for-7 over his first two games at the show with all three hits being of the extra-base variety. He was having a great year at Triple-A, putting up a .302/.381/.503 slash line with 14 long balls over 87 games. Leblanc could see significant playing time for the Marlins the rest of the way.
