Kevin Gausman pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out 10 during Toronto's win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

Gausman pitched the best game of his season, allowing a season-low single hit over eight innings of work. He induced 18 swinging strikes, struck out 10 and produced an excellent 36 percent CSW over 103 pitches. He has struck out exactly 10 hitters in three of his last six starts and has an outstanding 45:7 strikeout-to-walk ratio over that span. With the dominant game, Gausman's record improves to 8-8 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with 132 strikeouts over 20 starts. He'll next toe the rubber in a matchup against the Twins on Sunday.
