David Robertson converts save opportunity in 2022 Phillies debut

David Robertson pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts on Wednesday against the Braves to earn his first save with the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Robertson's usage was surprising, considering Rob Thomson had said that Seranthony Dominguez and Brad Hand would be used primarily in the eighth and ninth innings. But, Robertson not only got the save chance in his first game, he converted it with ease. He has had an outstanding season with a 2.18 ERA and an 11.54 K/9 rate, so expect him to factor into the ninth inning going forward. But do not take Wednesday's usage to suggest he's the clear-cut closer, particularly in light of Thomson's prior comments.
