Craig Kimbrel picks up save in Dodgers sweep of Giants Thursday night

by Josh Thiessen | Dodgers Correspondent | Fri, Aug 5th 1:12am EDT

Craig Kimbrel pitched the ninth inning on Thursday, striking out one, and giving up one hit for zero earned runs as he earned the save in the Dodgers' 5-3 win over the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

Kimbrel picked up his 20th save of the season on Thursday as he remains the teams primary closer. The Dodgers reliever has struggled to get through innings and it happened again Thursday as he gave up a run on a wild pitch. The 34 year old seems to be in no position of losing his spot as the closer and he should be rostered everywhere.
