Red Sox manager Alex Cora indicated Friday that Chris Sale has started playing catch as he continues to work back from surgery on his finger. There is still no timetable for his return. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Sale has only pitched in two games this season, and was removed in the first inning of his July 17th start after fracturing his left fifth finger. With no timetable for the veteran starter to return, fantasy managers should plan on potentially being without him for the remainder of the season.
