Alexis Diaz entered Saturday's game against the Brewers in the eighth inning with the Reds up 6-3 and held them scoreless to earn his 12th hold.
Fantasy Impact:
Manager David Bell went to Diaz in the eighth to face the five-six-seven batters in the Brewers lineup. He then brought Hunter Strickland in for the ninth, though it was no longer a save situation. It's hard to know whether Bell's strategy is to use Diaz in high leverage situations or to set up Strickland. Diaz is a talented pitcher whose fantasy value would dramatically increase with more save opportunities.
