Chris Flexen serves up five runs in Game 2 of doubleheader Saturday

Chris Flexen took the loss in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Angels, allowing five runs on six hits across six innings to go along with five strikeouts and two walks.

Fantasy Impact:

Flexen allowed a pair of runs in the third inning off RBI base hits by Taylor Ward and Max Stassi, followed by a solo home run hit by Mickey Moniak to open the fourth inning. Mariners manager Scott Servais seemingly tried to squeak out one more inning out of Flexen with Seattle playing a doubleheader when David Fletcher hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning. The long ball would not have been a home run in any other ball park interesting enough. Flexen remains a very low-upside pitcher from a fantasy perspective.
