Kyle Isbel went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in Kansas City’s 5-4 win against Boston on Saturday.
Isbel’s solo home run in the 4th inning gave the Royals a 4-3 lead. The home run was Isbel’s third of the year and first since June 29. Isbel is slashing .212/.247/.335 with three home runs, 14 RBI, and five stolen bases in 164 at-bats this season. Isbel’s lack of power but consistent playing time leads to him being a better low-cost value in GPPs rather than season-long formats.
