Seth Brown went 2-for-5 at the plate on Sunday, hitting a single and a 2-run homer, and striking out once as the A's went on to lose to the Giants in a 6-4 game.

Brown hit his 17th home run of the season on Sunday which is well above league average, he is one of the few players from the A's that can still be rostered. The Athletics' first basemen is batting .238 on the season with an OPS of .762. The 30 year old is creating the second most offense on his team with a wRC+ of 115, he also has the most extra base hit potential on his team with an ISO of .223.
