Eric Hosmer doubles against old team on Sunday

Red Sox first baseman Eric Hosmer went 1-for-3 with a double and walk against his old team, the Royals, on Sunday. He struck out once, scored a run, and came mere feet away from hitting one into the seats at Kauffman Stadium. His effort was all for naught, though, as Boston ultimately fell to Kansas City by a score of 13-5, wrapping up a painful series loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Hosmer is slashing .270/.338/.391 with eight homers, 41 RBI, 36 walks, and 56 strikeouts this season. He has gone just 2-for-10 since joining the Red Sox but has hit numerous fly balls that would have been homers at Fenway Park. He has also drawn three walks and just one strikeout as a member of the Boston club.
