Tommy Pham blasts no-doubt homer against Royals

by Andersen Pickard | White Sox Correspondent | Sun, Aug 7th 10:55pm EDT

Red Sox outfielder and leadoff hitter Tommy Pham went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and two-run homer against the Royals on Sunday afternoon. He also struck out once in the contest. Boston ultimately fell to Kansas City by a score of 13-5, wrapping up a painful series loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Pham has gone 5-for-25 with three RBI, one walk, and 10 strikeouts since joining the Red Sox. Still, he is a threat for power and could earn the full-time leadoff role in Boston's lineup, both of which would bode well for his fantasy value. He should be rostered in most leagues.
