Tyler Glasnow could return this season

Tyler Glasnow is showing positive signs in his recovery from Tommy John surgery last year. He is currently hitting 98-99 mph and pitching coach Kyle Snyder said “the chance is not zero” when asked if Glasnow will pitch this season. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Glasnow landed on the IL in mid-June with an elbow sprain that required Tommy John surgery. He was having a great start to the season prior to getting injured. He posted a 2.66 ERA, .176 OBA, and a 12.58 K/9 ratio in 14 starts. He likely will need a somewhat lengthy rehab assignment before joining the Rays becomes a possibility.
