Jordan Lyles allows two runs, strikes out one Monday

Jordan Lyles (9-8) allowed two earned runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings Monday versus the Blue Jays, earning the win in the 7-4 victory. The right-hander struck out one and yielded two walks in the 103-pitch outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Lyles has managed to lower his ERA in three consecutive starts as it now sits at 4.35. However, the righty only generated four whiffs resulting in a 8% whiff rate. The inconsistency makes Lyles difficult to trust in your lineup. The Hartsville native is scheduled to start versus the Rays in Tampa on August 13.
