Alek Manoah pitched five innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five during Toronto's loss to Baltimore on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
The Orioles got to Manoah early in this game and made him grind through his shortest outing of the season. The eight hits were a season-high for the young hurler, who now has posted three straight mediocre starts. Take this as a bump in the road for Manoah who has otherwise been excellent this season producing a 12-5 record with a 2.56 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with 124 strikeouts over 22 starts. He'll next take the mound in a re-match against the Orioles on Monday.
