Taijuan Walker bounces back in win over Reds on Wednesday

by Dan Harris | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, Aug 10th 10:16pm EDT

Taijuan Walker allowed two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings on Wednesday against the Reds. He struck out five and earned the win, moving to 10-3.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a huge bounce-back effort from Walker after he got beat up by the Braves last week. He was hardly dominant, generating just 12 whiffs, but he didn't need to be given all his run support. Even with last week's blowup, he now has a 3.43 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, and can generally be started other than in the most difficult matchups. He'll take on the Braves in his next start.
