Jeffrey Springs fans eight in no-decision

Rays starter Jeffrey Springs allowed two runs, four hits, and two walks over five innings of work against the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon. He also struck out an impressive eight batters but finished with the no-decision as Tampa Bay ultimately fell to Milwaukee by a score of 4-3 in 10 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Springs is now 4-3 with a 2.56 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and .232 OBA through 23 games (15 starts) this season. He has also tallied 9.71 K/9 and 1.92 BB/9. Now that Springs has asserted himself in the Tampa Bay rotation, he has plenty of waiver wire appeal.
