Colin Poche blows save in ninth inning Wednesday

by Andersen Pickard | Rays Correspondent | Wed, Aug 10th 10:46pm EDT

Rays reliever Colin Poche allowed a game-tying solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning during Wednesday's contests against the Brewers. He also struck out one batter during the frame. Although Poche did pitch the whole inning, the run extended the game and ultimately led to the Rays' demise. Tampa Bay fell to Milwaukee by a score of 4-3 in 10 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Poche owns a 3.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and .194 OBA along with 9.00 K/9, 3.32 B/9, and an alarming 2.13 HR/9 this season. He is just 7-for-12 in save situations and should be left on waivers in most leagues.
