Chris Taylor hits solo homer in Dodgers win Wednesday night

by Josh Thiessen | Dodgers Correspondent | Thu, Aug 11th 11:00am EDT

Chris Taylor went 1-for-3 at the plate on Wednesday, hitting a solo homer, walking once, and striking out once as the Dodgers went on to beat the Twins in an 8-5 game.

Fantasy Impact:

Taylor's home run on Wednesday night was his seventh of the season as he has struggled to drive the ball deep this season. The Dodgers' utility man is making good contact despite the lack of power as he is batting .234 on the season with an OPS of .726. The 31 year old should be rostered, but he could certainly display more patience at the plate as he strikes out a very high 35.8% of the time.
