Ryan Pepiot strikes out four in start Wednesday night

by Josh Thiessen | Rays Correspondent | Thu, Aug 11th 11:07am EDT

Ryan Pepiot pitched 4 1/3 innings on Wednesday, striking out four, walking three, and giving up five hits for four earned runs as he took the no-decision in the Dodgers' 8-5 win over the Twins.

Fantasy Impact:

Pepiot is the one who took Mitch White's spot in the Dodgers rotation after the trade of the later. The Dodgers pitcher has pitched to the tune of an 3.92 ERA with a WHIP of 1.45, which are both mid-tier numbers, but certainly not ideal ones in such a small sample size. The 24 year old should be avoided in fantasy for the time being, his next start comes against the Brewers on August 16th.
