Zach Plesac allowed one run on four hits over 6 1/3 innings in a 4-3 win over the Tigers in 10 innings on Thursday. Plesac struck out seven and walked one but had to settle for a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Plesac turned in one of his better starts of the season, notching 14 swinging strikes on 100 pitches. The veteran hurler has been up-and-down in 2022, posting a 2-10 record, 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts over 114 2/3 innings of work. He will get a rematch against Detroit next Tuesday.
